So another month passes and we are still all caught up in the Coronavirus bubble with nowhere to go….some struggling a lot more than others. I am feeling very privileged having my own art space to create ,….but at times that’s not so easy – to create. I am missing our children, grandchildren, (family in general) friends and neighbours …. so I thought I would reflect this in my next piece. I do seem to stare out the window for long periods of time – so that’s where I begin. Taking an advertisement that I can reproduce as an art deco piece that will give me the form that I am after:
Picking the hair colour for this one was tricky – but hey -a champagne colour suited her perfectly. And I thought I would give the hat a miss this time. Quite happy with the way she turned out. Another on the list to frame.
